AusNac - Australian Apprenticeships Centre

  2007 Mildura Jazz Food and Wine Festival AUSNAC is the Australian Apprenticeships Centre that provides a FREE service for employers and people interested in becoming an Australian Apprentice.

AUSNAC’s FREE service covers Victoria and NSW providing the registration of apprentices & trainees and the payment of Australian Government Incentives, also giving advice on training packages, registered training providers & financial incentives & allowances.

  2007 Mildura Jazz Food and Wine Festival The Mildura Local Community Partnership is a consortium involving MADEC, as the lead agency, Centacare and Sunraysia and Murray Group Training.

It facilitates the delivery of local career and transition support to all schools throughout the Sunraysia region, as part of the Australian Government’s Career Advice Australia network.

  2007 Mildura Jazz Food and Wine Festival Local Learning and Employment Networks (LLENs) are a Victorian Government initiative.

They bring together education providers, industry, community organisations, individual and government organisations to improve education, training and employment outcomes for young people in communities across Victoria.

  2007 Mildura Jazz Food and Wine Festival MADEC was established in 1969 with the specific aim of bringing a range of training and education options to the residents of Sunraysia that were not previously available in the region.

Today MADEC employs over 180 staff and operates across 3 states over 15 sites delivering Regional Initiatives and Regional Solutions to the broader community in Employment, Education and Community Development.

  2007 Mildura Jazz Food and Wine Festival The Riverlink.Postgraduate Research Network (Riverlink.PRN) was launched in Mildura on 4 July 2001 and is a joint initiative of Riverlink and La Trobe University, providing increased postgraduate research and training opportunities in the Mildura Region, and the Riverland of South Australia.

Both postgraduate and Honours students complete their degree studies by working on Riverlink.

PRN research projects, interacting closely with regional horticulture industries and natural resource management organisations.

  2007 Mildura Jazz Food and Wine Festival The Sunraysia Institute of TAFE is the major provider of vocational education and training in NW Victoria.

The Institute has three teaching Centres – Arts and Community Education, Business and Industry Services and Land, Food and Water offering a vast array of courses from Certificates to Diplomas, Apprenticeships, Traineeships, access and bridging programs to short and enrichment courses.

  2007 Mildura Jazz Food and Wine Festival Riverina Institute offers a large range of courses across its campuses, including traineeships and apprenticeships delivering on campus, in the workplace, online and any combination of these.

These all lead to qualifications at various levels - Statements of Attainment, Certificates I-IV, Diplomas and Advanced Certificates and Diplomas under the Australian Qualifications Framework.

  2007 Mildura Jazz Food and Wine Festival VECCI has been delivering training to businesses in regional Victoria for over 30 years.

Each year they offer a calendar of public training courses to businesses in the Mildura area.

VECCI can also customise training to suit a particular business or industry and deliver it at the workplace.

For example your business may have a training need but you don’t have enough staff to justify running it on your own.

Why not join with other businesses who have the same needs and VECCI can provide cluster training.
